“I participated a dental mission trip in 2015 in Nicaragua. My team consists of 3 dentists, 3 assistants, 1 hygienist, 2 translators, 1 sterilizer. We saw 278 patients, completed 1194 procedures that included 19 root canal therapies in 10 days.”

“Our working conditions were a little tight for space with 4 dental spaces and a sterilizing area. We would have to move bags and boxes out of the house each day to provide us with more space. We had some small problems with electricity but we have corrected that. One power outage of about 2 hours, and the only draw back was the generator since it was quite loud. However, we all had a wonderful time helping people with dental pain and issues, and we were greatly appreciated by our patients in the area.”
